Spring Break Memories- 2020
Spring break has been a BLAST! I'm going to recap everything that went on this week! Boy it's a lot! (Insert sarcasm here) No, it wasn't a busy week but it was definitely a GOOD week!
Monday- I took a bit of a "me" day. I went to Massage Envy and got an hour long massage and it was GLORIOUS.
So sometime last year, I think around October, I realized that I needed to start taking better care of myself. I was teaching Kindergarten, being a mom 24/7, being a wife as much as I could, running a business, taking care of our home, laundry, etc. All I didN'T do was cook....because my husband is a WAY better cook than me! So anyways...I was running full speed all day every day and never stopped to even breathe. So I bit the bullet and booked a massage. It was amazing. Every single second of it.
They were running a promotion at that time where if I signed up for 12 months of massages/facials/whatever I would get them 1/2 price every month. SOLD! I didn't even have to think twice about it. Best decision!
Anyway, I did that and then went SHOPPINNGGGG. I never get to do that on my own so I took full advantage of my time away. I went to Target and Old Navy. I found SO many cute things at both places!

I definitely snagged myself a couple pairs since they are on sale!

I also snagged both of these for Mackenzie. I love them because she can put them on by herself!
I also picked up a couple more Spring dresses for myself. I’m such a sucker for Spring clothes. 🤦🏻♀️

I shared my Old Navy finds in a blog post earlier this week so I won’t bore you with those again but I will tell you that like EVERYTHING in store was 30-40% off...including new arrivals! 😘
Tuesday- Quickly became a day of cleaning. We are getting ready to give Mackenzie a big girl room so I spent the day cleaning it all up and taking down the wall decor. I wouldn't say this was, "fun," but it was productive and she was enjoying it because she knew what was coming soon! I'll definitely do a blog post about the new room when it's finished!
i did ATTEMPT to take Madison’s 10 month pictures. Yeahhhh.... I got 2 where she wasn’t crying.
It’s okay. I’m okay. 10 months old. Wahhhh! 1 will be here before I know it. 😔
Wednesday- It was a super fun day. I took the girls to the zoo in Waco with a friend and her daughter. Mackenzie loves the zoo! She enjoys the freedom she has. She can walk and kinda do her own thing while I follow. Lol...She's too independent for her own good! She’s so funny, though. She gets excited to see animals from afar but is very afraid to get up close to the cages or glass walls. We working on realizing that they are not going to hurt us....
Cameron Park Zoo is a beautiful place. There is bamboo covering the area and has so much beautiful landscaping.
The animals were all out and about on Wednesday, too! They were really putting on a show for us! We had a great time!
After the zoo we went to try out a new restaurant in Waco, Union Hall.
It was the coolest place! It's indoors but is similar to food truck styles. There were at least a dozen different restaurants in there for you to choose from. It was very cool! We just had some buffalo wings....because I knew Mackenzie would eat them....and we were STARVING so I didn't really spend a ton of time looking around. Next time I go I will definitely venture out of my comfort zone more and try something new.

Thursday- A day of rest. We all needed it after an entire day at the zoo! Nothing exciting about Thursday. At. All.
We did FINALLY find Frozen 2 at the Redbox in town. We watched it....3 times! 3 times in one day! Kids....
Mackenzie loved it but I personally think the first one was better. It's hard for me to think of a sequel that is better than the original....
Friday- Today. What am I doing today? Well, I plan to finish watching Love is Blind. It is so hard for me to watch any TV these days! (Thanks girls!)
After catching up on some silly reality shows, I'm not sure what we will do. It is supposed to rain here so we might pull on our rain boots and go jump in some muddy puddles.
